French Bank
From Portugal to the world.
WHAT IS IT
It's called French Bank (Banca Francesa) but it's a game of Portuguese origin that is played with three dice thrown by the croupier.
In its origins, this game was only played in Portuguese casinos.
More recently, it started to be played internationally, in all Casinos where there are Portuguese players.
HOW TO PLAY
Three types of bets are offered: the Big “chance” bet (when the sum of the three dice is 14, 15 or 16), the Small “chance” bet (when the sum of the three dice is 5, 6 or 7), and finally, the bet on the Aces “chance” (when the three Aces come out).
All other totals are void and the dealer must roll the dice again.
If a Big “chance” or a Small “chance” number is rolled, the player who has bet on it wins an amount equal to the stake.
But when the croupier rolls the dice and the three Aces come out, whoever has bet on this “chance” wins 61 times the value of their stake, losing, in this case, the players who bet on the Big and Small.
