One of the most beloved and memorable soap operas in Brazilian television, “O Cravo e a Rosa,” by Walcyr Carrasco, has been given an unprecedented adaptation for the theater, directed by Pedro Vasconcelos and produced by Marcelo Faria.

If on television the main couple was played by Adriana Esteves and Eduardo Moscovis, on stage, Catarina and Petruchio will be brought to life by Paloma Bernardi and Marcelo Faria. The cast also includes João Camargo (as Batista), Catarina de Carvalho (as Bianca), Rosana Dias (as Mimosa), Marcello Gonçalves (as Seu Calixto), Carlos Félix (as Seu Etevaldo Praxedes, the collector) and John Garita (as Seu Venceslau Torres).
