‘NOW IT’S THEIR TURN!’ STANDS OUT FOR ITS SPONTANEOUS HUMOUR AND FREEDOM TO IMPROVISE, CREATING A UNIQUE CONNECTION WITH THE AUDIENCE.

In this show, the actresses and comedians go beyond questions of gender to bring more than twenty female and male characters to life across nine sketches combining humour, social commentary and reflections on society, politics and everyday behaviour. All of this is performed by an outstanding female cast whose versatility and talent captivate the audience.

On stage are Maria Clara Gueiros, widely known for her work on the comedy programme Zorra Total; Júlia Rabello, one of the most popular figures in Brazilian comedy and a prominent member of Porta dos Fundos; and Priscila Castello Branco, an actress and comedian who has made a name for herself in the world of stand-up comedy, where she achieved great success with her solo show Tô Quase Lá.

According to Fábio Porchat, the playwright, the secret to the show’s success lies in the artistic chemistry between the performers: “The play is unpretentious. There are three great comedians on stage who know their potential and exactly how to make the most of each text. They add so much to the jokes and take the show to another level.”

The sketches — short stories with a beginning, middle and end — stand out for their fast pace, sharp dialogue and constant shifts between characters and situations. It is a format that continues to captivate generations of audiences through its freshness and dynamism.

As with the best comedy shows, each performance takes on a life of its own, making every show a different and unrepeatable experience.
