A tribute to Camilo Castelo Branco and Ana Plácido.

Ana and Camilo is a tribute to Camilo Castelo Branco and Ana Plácido, two names intertwined in a literary, experiential, and loving complicity. We asked Ana Vidigal to conceive an exhibition for the pages of this edition of Egoísta, and the result is this: to travel through the page as one admires the walls of a museum. We invited Filipa Leal to delight us with poetry, Luisa V Lopes with a loving perspective of the brain, and Rita Ferro with an epistolary exercise that transports us to the voice of Camilo himself. The artists' portfolios include Rita Magalhães, Nuno Nunes Ferreira, and Roberto Farba. The portrait of the writer, who was as loved as he was controversial, is woven by Inês Pedrosa.
