Ten years into his career, Matias Damásio took Portugal by storm in 2016 with the album "Por Amor" (For Love) and since then, "the whole world has been calling us crazy".

David Fonseca
September 23, 10pm

David Fonseca is one of Portugal's most charismatic songwriters. He shot to fame in the 90’s providing vocals for the much-loved band Silence 4. Their first album, "Silence Becomes It", was released in 1998 and the group quickly reached an unprecedented level of success with two multi-platinum albums. They toured for the last time in 2001 and went on hiatus until 2014, at which point they reunited for four special shows. In 2003, David Fonseca began his solo career with "Sing Me Something New", which quickly confirmed him as a unique creative force in music. To date he has released more than ten solo albums, the most recent being the album/film "Living Room Bohemian Apocalypse". In the collective record, he is involved in two projects that take a fresh look at the work of two pop culture icons - António Variações, with "Humanos", and David Bowie, at the beginning of 2017, with "Bowie 70". He has also developed a strong stage presence both in Portugal and abroad, which has always been highly impressive in visual terms. His live performances are memorable for all those who attend them, with their blend of multiple different media components, and his songs have long been a hallmark of some of the most important music that has been produced in Portugal - "Someone That Cannot Love", "Kiss Me, Oh Kiss Me", "Superstars", "Oh My Heart", "U Know Who I Am", "What Life Is For", or "Futuro Eu" are just a few of the songs composed by David Fonseca that linger in our imagination.

Calema

Calema are Portugal's biggest duo, formed by two brothers Fradique and António Mendes Ferreira, and they compose, write, and perform all of their own music.

The duo continues to break the biggest records in Portugal, being the artists with the most views on YouTube and the most monthly listeners on Spotify.

They recently released the single "A nossa dança" (Our Dance), which has been a huge hit on all platforms and is also the name of their new tour.
