TRUE COLORS
The “Gallery Family”, as the former director, Nuno Lima de Carvalho, affectionately referred to it, is made up of collectors, friends, journalists, collaborators, and the fundamental part of this nucleus, the group of artists who usually exhibit in this space. Branislav Mihajlovic and Carlos Ramos are two honored members of this Family because their remarkable careers are directly linked to this Gallery and because, over time, strong bonds of friendship have been forged.

MARAMGONÍ - Destinos
After dabbling in various artistic languages, he found his muse in landscapes and everyday scenes, making them his chosen subjects. Throughout his career, Maramgoní has taken part in numerous exhibitions worldwide, both solo and group shows, clinching significant accolades like the Special Prize at the Salon of Fine Arts in France. His artistry gained international acclaim, with pieces showcased at the UN in New York and involvement in iconic projects like Caw, Elephant Parade, Heart, Rino, and Egg, among others. He is one of the ambassadors of the Non‑Violence Project in Brazil, an initiative inspired by Yoko Ono and Swedish artist Carl Fredrik following the death of John Lennon.
In 2019, he relocated to Portugal, in pursuit of fresh challenges, where his artistic journey flourished, marked by his participation in numerous group exhibitions and a selection of solo displays in: Lisbon, Porto, Braga, Penafiel, Lagos, Albufeira, Alfandega da Fé and Vila Nova de Gaia.
A Arte Também Cura
As he entered his golden years, painter A. Santos Ramos, uncovered this possibility, manifested in various forms, each with their unique pictorial effects, which are showcased in this exhibition.
“Observing art in its various forms allows us to calm our minds, and better organize our thoughts, plans, and worries. If we attempt to represent it, we find that, among its many virtues, it has the power of a remedy for the soul, particularly in overcoming insomnia and anxieties”, says A. Santos Ramos.
“Throughout my life, especially in my various endeavors, I had the privilege of being a part of Estoril-Sol, to which I am bound by strong emotional ties. Therefore, it's an honor to hold my first solo exhibition at the Estoril Casino Art Gallery, titled Art Also Heals”, adds A. Santos Ramos.
Equilíbrio das Formas
A painting exhibition by Rui Carruço. In this exhibition the vertical cuts intertwine with mastery, weaving geometries that subtly echo, a vibrant expression typical of his compositions. In its play of light and shadow, geometry becomes a silent voice, providing the images with structure and cadence. This unique technique gives the works a moving dimension, expanding the visual experience beyond the gaze, inviting a dance of sensations.

um novo olhar ‑ a cidade
Cities, like people, have their favourite painters, and this watercolour artist, who is unanimously considered to be the best currently working in this field, has portrayed lisbon in a unique way.
His watercolours convey the luminosity of Lisbon in a language of their own, from the blue of the sky and the river to the ochre of the roofs of the different districts or the façades of the old houses. The 7 hills and their neighbourhoods, the River Tagus and its bridges, the riverside areas, the castle and the cathedral, and so much more, are icons of the capital and some of his favourite subjects. Paulo Ossião is an artist who has been closely associated with the Art Gallery since the beginning of his career. Since then he has adopted watercolour almost exclusively as his technique, and his work displays his rare knowledge and extensive experience. Paulo Ossião was born in Lisbon in 1952. Since 1981, he has been awarded and honoured many times for his work. He has presented over 50 solo exhibitions in various galleries and institutions. He has participated in numerous group exhibitions with watercolours and sculptures. PINTURA NAÏF
On July 30, the 41st International Salon of Naïf Painting opened at the Art Gallery. The 19 authors present, responded positively to the appeal that was addressed to them, that this edition excels in the presentation of quality work and Naïf authenticity.
In no way can we agree with those who say that naïve painters are those who don't know how to paint. On the contrary, they are those who paint as they know how, coming from the most diverse professions and social classes.
The naïve artists (naïfs) are far from the academies and their codes, but not from wisdom; far from the so-called cultured art, but they are in the heart, in the core of Culture itself; far from intellectual speculations, but not far from the deep and incorruptible emotion of simple people. They are deeply true, viscerally human.
Participating Artists: A. Réu, Alcindo Barbosa, António Poteiro, Arménio Ferreira, Bento Sargento, Conceição Lopes, Crucianu, Dulce Ventura, Edna de Araraquara, Elza Filipa, Fernanda Azevedo, Gutemberg Coelho, Isabelino Coelho, Jorge Serafim, Josep Mir, Manuel Castro, Maria Tereza, Richard Smith and Zé Cordeiro.

D. ANGHEL, DEFIGURATION OF UTOPIA
Her painting stands out for the monumentality of the works and for an extremely rigorous technique. In her paintings, subject to a formal and temporal fold, classical compositions of Western painting undergo various processes of transmutation and updating.
Daniela Anghel was born in Alexandria, Romania in 1979, later obtaining Portuguese nationality. Graduated in Fine Arts - Painting at the Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Lisbon, (2004) and took a brief specialization course in oil painting, drawing, portrait and human figure, at the Ilya Repin Imperial Academy, Saint Petersburg, Russia (2012 -2013).
Since 2003, she has exhibited regularly at the Casino Estoril Art Gallery, having participated in the Spring and Autumn Salons. LÁ DO SOL... ...PARA LÁ DO SOL
Presented by sculptural elements, where the rigor of the material defines scenarios and atmospheres that are apparently familiar to our eyes.
Marble, as the dominant material, being the core of the earth itself, recreates here landscapes that propose an imaginary journey beyond our horizon, where the sense of elevation and the coexistence of opposite points create idyllic moments.
ANDORINHA QUE VAIS ALTA
Filipa Oliveira Antunes' third solo exhibition in this gallery is inspired by Fernando Pessoa's poem "Andorinha que vais alta".
"Swallow you go high,
Why don't you bring me
anything i miss
And what can't I tell you?"
Fernando Pessoa
The set of 22 works developed for this exhibition intend to celebrate the Swallow, as a symbolic value, filling the rare examples of its record in the History of Art in Portugal.
In this sense, Filipa Oliveira Antunes was interested in understanding the poetic and philosophical analogy of a bird so small, but with huge wings, that flying long distances, arrives in the spring, choosing our houses to settle, until another departure for other directions.
CENAS DE LISBOA FROM MARAMGONÍ
The plastic artist Maramgoní, walks through Lisbon with a keen eye and mastery, in his first solo exhibition in the capital. With more than 30 years of career, the artist expresses an urban and at the same time vigorous vision of Lisbon, through 24 works, where he portrays some of the most emblematic neighborhoods, such as Alfama or Bairro Alto, Baixa Pombalina, Castelo de São Jorge, the Tagus and some scenes from everyday life in Lisbon. In the search for a new artistic reading, based on new aesthetic issues that are reflected in an exquisite design, the artist reveals a vast pictorial knowledge and procedure based on a philosophical architecture.
Artist by nature
Maramgoní was born in São Paulo in 1972, having been interested in drawing since childhood and showing great skill with shapes and proportions. At just 10 years old, he traces the guidelines of his artistic destiny: painting. After a few years as self-taught, in 1987, he opened his own studio, where he also taught. In 2005, he delves into contemporary art. Indifferent to fads, his work remains authentic and his techniques and colors reveal his genuine gift and love for art. In September 2018, Maramgoní moved to Lagos, Portugal.

From the excellent text for the presentation of the catalogue, by Luís Filipe Gomes, we extract the following excerpt: "(…)Materialize horizons, materialize the color that perception cannot find in a tube of paint; synthesize influences and concerns; recover from the wreckage the wreckage of shipwrecks; reuse salvage to build again; keep in mind archeology, history, science and, along with this memory and understanding, seek totality is what Beatriz Cunha and Branislav Mihajlovic propose here."

CIDADE - PAULO OSSIÃO
Casino Estoril received an exhibition by Paulo Ossião, entitled "City". This is a solo show by this artist, unanimously considered the best Portuguese watercolor artist of our time.
Paulo Ossião is an artist who has been deeply connected, since the beginning of his career, to the Casino Estoril Art Gallery. Since then, he has adopted watercolor as an almost exclusive modality, moving in it with rare knowledge of experience.
"Cidade" is another outstanding exhibition by Paulo Ossião who dominates watercolor with an unusual technique, very personal, whether in the urban landscape or in figuration, in large or small works.
He is a watercolor artist, of blues and all its shades, and one of his favorite subjects is Lisbon. Paulo Ossião has portrayed Lisbon in a unique way. His watercolors convey, in a very specific language, the luminosity of Lisbon, whether in the blue of the sky and the river, to the ocher of the roofs of the Lisbon neighborhoods or the facade of the old houses.
The hills and monuments, the Tagus and its bridges, the riverside areas, the Castle, the Cathedral, the cacilheiros, the trams, and many other things are unavoidable, which are icons of the capital and one of its favorite themes.

In 2000, he attended the drawing course at the National Society of Fine Arts in Lisbon. In 2003, the Engraving Course of the Cooperativa de Gravadores Portugueses and several workshops for visual artists. OS TEMPOS E OS MODOS - PAINTING COLLECTIVE

In turn, the individual painting exhibition "Modestia Laica", by Rui Aço, is an intrusion into the dark and perverse world of the Illuminati of yesterday and today. Human nature observed in its various nuances.
