SCHEDULE:  MONDAY TO SUNDAY, FROM 3PM TO 3AM

OPERA IL TROVATORE

Based on the non-romance El trovador by Antonio García Gutiérrez.

IS AN OPERA IN FOUR ACTS WHICH, TOGETHER WITH "RIGOLETTO" AND "LA TRAVIATTA", MAKES UP THE SO-CALLED " TRILOGIA VERDIANA", MADE UP OF VERDI'S MOST POPULAR OPERAS, WRITTEN ONE AFTER THE OTHER.

Lasting approximately 150 minutes, "Il Trovatore" is the most beautiful and exciting opera by Giuseppe Verdi (1813-1901) from a melodic point of view, as well as from a musical and dramatic point of view.

He brings with him an extraordinary cast for three triumphant performances of the opera whose plot is a complicated story about a troubadour who was raised by gypsies. In Vizcaya, Spain, some soldiers tell the story of a gypsy woman, condemned to death at the stake for witchcraft, unjustly accused of making one of the count's sons ill. Before she died, she ordered her daughter to avenge her, so she kidnapped one of the count's sons. The bones of a baby were found in the pile of ashes, but the count refused to believe that it was his kidnapped son.
